Federal Charter

      The University of America College of Science & Technology was established by 5th National Assembly Education Sector Bill (FME Education Reform Acts 2007.Ref. Initiative No . 12 (IEI) and received its Federal Charter in July 19, 2013 with RC1129763, as a tertiary Innovation Enterprise Institution to Advance the national economic growth through the maximization of human potentials via  excellence in vocational, scientific and technological training so as to develop the Workforce and enhance the nation's global competitiveness.

Approval, Licensure / Accreditation and  NYSC Participation Eligible

       The University of America College of Science & Technology is fully approved by Anambra State Government`s Ministry of Tertiary & Higher Education, Awka, Anambra state.

UA Nigeria is licensed by the Federal Ministry of Education # FME/NBTE/IEI/15/005. and Accredited by the National Board for Technical Education # C/Teb.553/Vol 1/257  to award the nationally recognized National Vocational Certificate,  National Certificates, National Diplomas (ND) degree , Higher National Diplomas (HND ) degrees. Graduates of UAN. HND are eligible to participate in the national NYSC Scheme.

Recognized and registered with the joint Matriculation Board (JAMB) We are register and listed the JAMB as IEI Institution No. 104. Code name: UA CST,  UAN also offers its own British and American style modular NVQ level 4  certificates, Level 5 Diplomas, Level 6 Higher Diplomas, Level 7 Professional Graduate Diplomas and Level 8 Professional Graduate Diplomas in various subjects.



International Affiliation with recognized bodies and universities

UAN is a higher Innovation Polytechnic and affiliate University College of the University of America Curacao/USA and an institutional member of the Association African Universities (AAU) #AAU/OMU/1647. Degree Conversion Arrangement Available to Graduates Graduates of UAN would be able to convert their various UA Nigeria diplomas to degrees of The UoA Curacao/USA. In the following order:

1. One year Level 4 National Certificates =One year of university in. 

2. Diploma/National Diploma =   equivalent to an Associate degree in U.K and US

3. Higher Diploma/HND= equivalent to U.K and U.S Bachelor's degree.

4. Professional Graduate Diploma Level 7=   equivalent of a U.K and U.S Masters degree.

5. Professional Graduate Diploma Level 8 = equivalent of a U.K and U.S. doctorate

That produces first class graduates with the nation`s most needed entry levels- graduates
